Founders
Mikko Keskinen
I have worked with recruitment in the role of a consultant since 2010 and with executive search for the last five years. As a founding partner, in addition to active client work, I am responsible for our company's sales and other development.
I have been involved in filling the following roles, among others: CEO, Sales Director, CFO, Plant Manager, Business Controller, Purchasing Manager, Head Promoter, Project Manager, Chief Accountant, Head of Advisory, several KAM roles, Product Owner. I can also provide references from my previous clients if needed. In the last 5 years, I have been involved in over a hundred assignments.
I have a strong understanding of business and know many different industries. Before founding Nawia, I was previously a partner and board member in a growth company. In the same company, I also worked as a Sales Director in a profit-responsible management role. I believe that my previous background has given me strong expertise in handling people in the executive search process and the ability to get deeper in my interviews.
I spend my free time on the football field as a coach for Ilves' junior representative team and try to develop myself with various trainings. I live in Pirkkala with my wife and three children.
Hannu Pelli
I am Hannu Pelli – one of the founders of Nawia. I have worked in recruitment for eight years, helping small start-up companies as well as global Fortune 500 companies find the best talent on the market. At Nawia, I am particularly responsible for the development of our executive search and recruitment services.
For the past three years, I have mainly focused on recruiting sales professionals at the Nordic level. I have helped dozens of companies grow sales through successful sales recruitments in all Nordic countries. In addition to sales recruitments, I have done numerous expert recruitments in engineering, finance, marketing, and HR.
In executive search, the values that are important to me towards clients are honesty, transparency, and creating a feeling where company representatives can focus on their core business knowing that the recruitment is in good hands. It is important for me to represent the company positively in all executive search candidate encounters, and I feel that recruitment is nowadays brand ambassadorship, where every contact matters to the brand of the company I represent. My success rate with a +100 executive search sample in recruitments is 100%.
In my free time, you can find me enjoying Stephen King's literature, at the gym, or on a jogging track.
Sanna Pelli
I have over 15 years of experience in recruitment, working as a Talent Manager, In-house Recruiter, and Consultant. Additionally, I have led a growth company focused on direct search in the role of CEO. In addition to diverse client work and assignments, I am responsible at Nawia for the systematic development of client relationships and growth-supporting processes.
I have successfully filled several different roles, from R&D project managers, SW architects, and IT business partners to business directors, marketing directors, and HR business partners. A large portion of my roles have been in engineering positions within technology companies, on a broad scale. During my over five years as a direct search consultant, I have gained experience especially from rapidly growing tech companies, and I can easily relate to and grasp the challenges and bottlenecks of a growth company, which I aim to help with my own work.
I enjoy encounters and being able to assist my clients in this role that requires trust, helping them move towards their goals. I have a strong network and high emotional intelligence, which allows me to understand the needs and expectations of both clients and candidates. As a doer, I am persistent, relentless, and value quality in every stage of recruitment, taking into account the candidate experience and communication.
In everyday life, I enjoy good food cooked by my husband, and I love live music, from which I get a lot of energy. In addition to my husband, there are teenagers and a people-loving Burmese cat at home. The dark and long cold season does not suit me, and I dream that in the coming years I can live in a warmer place during Finland's darkest months. Traveling is important to me, and living abroad has given me a lot of understanding and brought perspective to life.
